Article: Charleston Ballet announces auditions for 2008-09 season

The Charleston Ballet, the official West Virginia state ballet, will have company and apprentice auditions in May for the 2008-09 season.

Under the direction of K.R. Pauley, the company audition will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7.

Male and female dancers of advanced ability with a classical ballet background are encouraged to audition for the company. Dancers must be at least 14 years old, and women must be proficient in pointe work.
