Todaro scores four goals, helps boys punch ticket to state championship at UMBC

FULTON - Patrick Todaro became the most popular student in the hallways of Southern High last night.

After the Bulldogs' junior scored four goals in the Class 2A-1A state semifinal game to help his team beat Eastern Tech, 7-5, at Reservoir High School, he was swarmed by teammates and fans.

Despite his moment in the sun, Todaro was more focused on his team's achievement and its goals, particularly winning the program's first state championship.

"It's a team effort," Todaro said to stamp out any future pats on the back. "I did it all for my team. I don't need any self glory. That's my overall goal for the season."
