Article: World history on display through power of Pulitzer Prize photos

COLUMBUS -- The 150 Pulitzer Prize winning photos make you think, make you wonder, make you remember. And a few may make you weep.

"Capture the Moment: The Pulitzer Prize Photographs" opened Friday, April 25, and runs until July 25 at the Ohio Historical Center in Columbus.

Organized by decade, the photographs document famous, infamous and ordinary moments in history, in people's lives and in global conflict. U.S. presidents, assassins, soldiers, athletes, firefighters and everyday heroes are depicted in times of strife, peril, contemplation, triumph and defeat.
