For thousands of California workers, rising unemployment rates, an enormous budget deficit and a looming recession are the least of their concerns. California aerospace workers are more worried about the fact that the Department of Defense is sending 44,000 U.S. manufacturing jobs and a critical defense contract for tanker refueling aircraft overseas.
