Article: MOVIES; 'Prince Caspian' puts up a fight

The kingdom of Narnia is again in turmoil. But this time, the sons and daughters of Adam are battle-tested and battle-ready.

Which makes "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" the equivalent of "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" in the series of films based on the fantasy novels by C.S. Lewis.

Both films compensate for a listless earlier entry by amping up the action and violence. As if the titles of those films weren't enough to keep track of, their chronologies are also tangled. "Sith" brought the six-film "Star Wars" series to a close, and was the third chapter overall; "Caspian" is the second of seven books in the "Narnia" series, but the fourth chronologically.
