Avant garde artist Damien Hirst is believed to be the buyer of
the UK's most expensive and unusual country pad which has sold for a
record breaking pounds7.2 million.
Insiders say the Bristol- born artist has added the
extraordinary Orchid House to his ever growing portfolio of
properties around the world.
As things stand, the eco house shaped like a Bee Orchid is
nothing more than a piece of prime land and a set of architect's
drawings which appear to show a giant cracked egg on the side of a
Cotswolds lake.
But developers say a mystery buyer has signed on the dotted line
to pay the pounds7.2 million needed to see architect Sarah
Featherstone's award-winning vision taken off the drawing ...
