A Military funeral will be held for Cleethorpes Trooper Robert
Pearson, who was killed in Afghanistan.
The service will take place on Thursday at St Mary's Catholic
Church on Heneage Road, Grimsby from 10am - and the public is
invited to line the route to show support for the late young
soldier.
Trooper Pearson's body was repatriated to the UK on Monday. On
the same flight, which landed at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire, was
Prince William who paid tribute to the bravery of our troops.
As reported, the Royal had been visiting the battle zone in
Afghanistan and joined the aircrew which flew from Kandahar,
bringing 22-year-old Trooper Pearson's remains back to his family.
