Retried agricultural consultant Charles Borman said he was disgusted at the way Singapore Airlines handled the nightmare situation when he fell violently ill.

And he was angry that after a month-long investigation, the airline offered him a "pittance" in compensation, saying there was no proof they were definitely to blame for his illness.
