Council chiefs have given their backing to the Western Daily
Press campaign to save Wiltshire's air ambulance service.
West Wiltshire District Council leader Graham Payne called on
bosses at Great Western Ambulance Service (GWAS) to make sure the
service was not regionalised.
The launch of the Western Daily Press campaign last Wednesday
sparked a debate at that day's meeting of West Wiltshire District
council, where councillors gave their full backing to our efforts to
save the service.
Opposition leader Trevor Carbin united with his Tory counterpart,
