Ray Milford, of Exminster, is preparing for a 45-mile charity
walk across the Pyrenees to raise money for the Royal British
Legion.
He will be walking Le Chemin de la Liberte, a commemorative walk
from Saint Girons in France to Esterri d'Aneu in Spain in July.
Mr Milford, of Sentry's Orchard, is meeting his own expenses and
hopes to raise at least pounds500 in sponsorship.
He attempted the walk last year but due to illness had to
withdraw on day two after reaching the height of 1,400 metres (4,620
feet).
Even so, thanks to sponsors, he was still able to raise
