When most people receive junk mail it goes straight in the bin.

But when postal worker Jamie Coult saw it piling up at Harpings Road sorting office in west Hull he decided to steal it and sell it on eBay.

The former postman stole the junk mail which included money off vouchers for Lurpak, Pampers, McCains chips and Wetherspoons.

He sold them in bulk to customers on eBay and even sent the coupons off to people using prepaid Royal Mail envelopes.

Coult, 36, of Wadsworth Avenue, north Hull, had worked for the Royal Mail for 13 years initially as a postman and latterly as a managerial support officer.
