A Child suffering from a rare genetic disorder has been given a
helping hand.
As reported, five-year-old Thomas Goulsbra suffers from
cystinosis, a rare inherited disease that damages organs, such as
the eyes, and muscles.
Next month, he will travel to Dublin, Ireland, with his family
for an international medical conference on the illness, which has
left him unable to eat solid foods and with mobility difficulties.
The pounds1,500 trip has been funded by The Artie White
Foundation, the local fundraising organisation.
Thomas' mum, Sue Goulsbra, said the money was a lifeline for the
family.
At the conference, on June 27, she hopes to discover any advances
made by foreign doctors in the ...
