Three new arrivals at a popular tourist attraction are causing a
stir as the monkey-birthing season kicks in.
The first baby monkeys of the year have arrived at Trentham
Monkey Forest, with more expected to be born over the coming weeks.
People have been travelling from across the country to see the
tiny Barbary Macaques clinging to their mothers.
Lorna Smith, aged 31, had driven from Lymm, in Cheshire, with her
husband Michael, and their 16-month-old son, Efran.
She said: "We've only seen one of the babies, but he was very
cute.
"Efran seems to like all the monkeys - he wants to go and join
them. He's very fascinated when they walk past or in front of him."
