Pop superstars the Osmonds have made a secret visit to the Forest
of Dean.
Five of the 1970s chart toppers took time out of their world tour
to pop into Gadfield Elm Chapel in Staunton for a private visit.
Jay, Donny, Merrill, Wayne and Alan stunned locals by taking a
trip to the church which belongs to The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints - better known as the Mormons.
Gadfield Elm was the first purpose-built chapel the church owned
world-wide.
Although the chapel is no longer used for congregational
purposes, it stands as a memorial to nearly 2,000 locals who joined
the church in the 1840s and then emigrated to North America settling
cities such as Las Vegas, San Francisco and ...
