A poignant message from a little four-month-old calf exhibited at
the Royal Bath and West of England Show, called on the public to
lobby their MPs for a cull of TB-diseased badgers.
The message is on display prominently above the stall of Aberdeen
Angus calf Daredevil, from Colin Hutchins's well-known herd from
Brompton Regis, near Taunton.
It reads: "Hi folks. It's nice to be with you at the Royal Bath
and West show. My name is Daredevil and I am here with my mum and
dad and three other relatives. My Boss, the farmer, said we have had
a very difficult year with foot and mouth disease, TB and now
bluetongue.
