Movie review
Add Amy Poehler and Tina Fey to the great big-screen comedic
teams born on "Saturday Night Live."
In "Baby Mama" this dynamic duo delivers the laughs as Poehler's
wrong-side-of-the tracks Angie Ostrowiski becomes the unlikely
surrogate for Fey's busy career woman whose biological clock ticks
loudly. As Kate Holbrook, Fey plays it straight, dressed in power
suits and trying to maintain course on the corporate fast track.
Kate is a 37-year-old vice president of a Whole Foods-like
corporation who feels the only thing missing in her life is a baby.
Poehler, on the other hand, plays trash-talking Angie, who sneaks
cigarettes, swills shots of booze and drinks Dr. Pepper and Big
Gulps.
