Leicester lock Hamilton also lured north
CHRIS Paterson will quit Gloucester and return to Edinburgh this
summer, and complete a double swoop by the capital club on Scotland
internationalists.
Jim Hamilton, the Leicester lock, was finally confirmed as an
Edinburgh player yesterday for the next three years after four
months of speculation linking him with a move north.
Paterson's surprise return, on a new two-year contract, is the
more intriguing as it was only last October that he pledged himself
to the Guinness Premiership club for three years.
He left Edinburgh with a year remaining on his deal at
Murrayfield and joined up with Dean Ryan and Bryan Redpath, and
