Carl E. Munson, 82, of Luther Manor, formerly of Alverno
Apartments, died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008, peacefully at
Luther Manor, of natural causes, surrounded by his wonderful wife of
60 years and his loving family.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at Nativity
Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends
may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Behr Funeral Home,
1491 Main St., where there will be a parish wake service at
7 p.m.
He was born on May 15, 1926, in Sterling, Ill., son of August and
Loretta (Fagan) Munson. He married Darda Lubben on Sept. 15, 1947,
in Sterling, where they lived and he worked for the Chicago,
Burlington & Quincy ...
