Not every Washburn University student can get an audience to see what he or she has accomplished during the academic year.

That is an advantage art students at Washburn have each spring when they can submit their creations for selection for the Washburn Art Student Exhibition in the university's Mulvane Art Museum.

The exhibit is on display through July 13 in the first-floor galleries of the museum, which is just south of the S.W. 17th and Jewell Avenue entrance to campus. Admission is free.

An outside artist selects the shown works from those submitted for consideration. This year's juror was Linda Ganstrom, a member of the art faculty at Fort Hays ...
