PETERSBURG -- Dogwood Trace Golf Course opened last week, but
without a permanent clubhouse.
For golf course manager Jamie Fagan, that's no surprise. "It's
very rare that a golf course opens with all facilities done," Fagan
said.
But for some, the idea that the golf course won't be completed
before it opens comes as a shock. Some who have been long-standing
opponents of the project have only used the lack of a permanent
clubhouse as ammunition in their fight.
