(China Sports) Olympic torch relay ends south China's island leg
with passion
HAIKOU, May 6 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing Olympic torch relay in
south China's Hainan province concluded on Tuesday amid the great
passion of millions of local people.
During the three-day journey in Hainan, which covered Sanya,
Wuzhishan, Wanning, Qionghai and the capital city of Haikou, the
Olypmic torch relay was warmly welcomed with smiles, cheers and
applauses everywhere from the local people.
Across the five cities, the Olympic torch traveled 91.63 km and
handed on by 624 torchbearers. Wherever the Olympic flame went,
