Junk mail to Dutch households on rise

BRUSSELS, May 27 (Xinhua) -- The number of advertising leaflets delivered to Dutch households has increased significantly in recent years, Dutch media reported Tuesday.

Households in the Netherlands received 12.5 billion pieces of junk paper in 2006, 5.9 percent up from the previous year and 20 percent more than in 2005.
