South African killed in Iraq explosion

JOHANNESBURG, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- The South African government has expressed sympathy to the families of the deceased, including a South African, who were killed in a car bomb in Baghdad on Wednesday.

Foreign Affairs Departmental spokesman Ronnie Mamoepa was quoted by the South African Press Association as saying that "We sympathize with families of the deceased and wish those who were wounded by the explosion a speedy recovery."
