UN chief "dismayed" at fresh violence in Venezuela

UNITED NATIONS, March 5 (Xinhua) -- UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said Friday that he is "dismayed" at the violence in Venezuela that has been going on since last week.

"The Secretary-General is following with concern the latest developments in Venezuela," UN spokesman Fred Eckhard told reporters at the UN headquarters in New York.
