Iraqis demand Jordan to turn in former Iraqi officials

BAGHDAD, March 23 (Xinhua) -- A number of the Iraqi parties organized a campaign to gather signatures in a referendum to be submitted to Jordan, demanding it to turn in former Iraqi officials released by the coalition authorities, website Iraqnews4all said Tuesday.

Sa'adoon Homadi, the former chairman of the Iraqi parliament, sought refuge in Jordan after being released. Now Iraqi parties hope Jordan hands over him to Iraqi justice, according to the website.
