Outdoor pool no problem for Chinese swimmers, says head coach

JINCHENG, North China, March 25 (Xinhua) -- "I don't think an outdoor pool would pose a big problem to Chinese swimmers in Athens. We shall disregard this last-minute change of Olympic competition conditions," Zhao Ge, head coach of the Chinese national swimming team, said here on Thursday.

Zhao's national team joins 29 other teams from across China in the eight-day national swimming champions meeting opening on Thursday. It is one of the several national Olympic trials running through June this year.
