Majority of students take sleeping pills in central China city

WUHAN, May 7 (Xinhua) -- A survey by the Wuhan municipal mental health center shows nearly 60 percent of students are taking sleeping pills in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province.

The two-year survey was carried out among 10,000 students in 28 middle and high schools. It was done to study the addictive properties of the second generation sleeping pills, widely known as "An Ding" or "Shu Le An Ding".
