Malaysia rules out three suspected bird flu human cases
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Three of the four people
suspected to be suffering from bird flu have been discharged from
Kota Baharu Hospital in Malaysia's northern state of Kelantan, a
health official said on Sunday.
Blood tests on the three patients proved negative, Kelantan
Director of Health Services Ahmad Razin Datuk Ahmad Mahir told
reporters there.
"The three admitted to hospital two days ago were suffering from
the ordinary flu," he said.
The three, who had flu and cough, were admitted to the Kota Baharu
Hospital for further checks after the bird flu virus of the H5N1
