16 Venezuelan athletes to participate in Athens Paralympics Games

CARACAS, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Venezuelan delegation to participate in the 12th Paralympics Games of Athens 2004 is integrated by 16 athletes, official sources said Wednesday.

The bronze medalist in Sydney 2000, Ricardo Santana, will carry the flag of the delegation which will leave for Athens on Thursday.
