Crude oil prices fall in New York

NEW YORK, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil prices fell Wednesday in New York as traders expected Hurricane Ivan might not cause oil industry any lasting infrastructure damage.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures for October delivery dropped 81 cents to close at 43.58 dollars a barrel. On London's International Petroleum Exchange, however, the October Brent crude-oil futures contract climbed 12 cents to settle at 41.85 dollars a barrel.
