Former rebel leader elected Kosovo prime minister

BELGRADE, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- The Kosovo parliament on Friday elected former rebel leader Ramush Haradinaj, an ethnic Albanian, as prime minister of the UN-controlled southern Serbian province.
