Seven Egyptians killed, 34 injured in road accident in southern Jordan

AMMAN, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Seven Egyptian pilgrims were killed and 34 others injured Monday in a road accident in Jordanian southern province of Aqaba, the state-run Petra News Agency reported Monday.

An initial police report had said the accident took place Monday morning on the Al-Aqba-Ma'an highway, when the driver of a bus, which carried the Egyptian pilgrims coming from Saudi Arabia to Aqba, lost control over the vehicle.
