Zimbabwean gov't working on program to population against vitamin deficiencies

HARARE, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Zimbabwean Minister of Health and Child Welfare David Parirenyatwa has said the government was working on a program to the population against vitamin and mineraldeficiencies, which "remain a major public health problem" in the country.

Minister Parirenyatwa was quoted by local media as saying on Sunday that the exercise was being done together with the NationalTaskforce on Staple Food Fortification.
