The Artie White Foundation held its eighth golf tournament at
Cleethorpes Golf Club and the day proved to be the most successful
to date financially.
Sponsored jointly by Natwest Bank and T Diable Roofing, with all
tee's covered by sponsors, foundation chairman Pete Jolly was
delighted with the turnout.
There were 39 teams of four battling for the honours, with Dean
Martin, Rob Spreckley, Ian Stephenson and Wayne Young coming out on
top with 88 points.
The organisation had to be at its best to ensure that each team
teed off on time, from the first team going out at 9.40am and the
last team out at 3pm, and a strict timetable was met.
It was a wonderful effort by all involved.
