Prince William impressed his instructors when he took to the
water for his second training day with the Royal Navy.
The Prince, who will be known as Sub- Lt Wales during his two-
month attachment with the Navy, was praised for his boat-handling
skills while piloting a 15m picket boat on the River Dart.
It is understood Prince William will remain at Britannia Royal
Naval College Dartmouth for up to three weeks, where he will learn
core skills such as navigation and sea safety.
The remaining five weeks will be spent with the frigate HMS Iron
Duke, on duty in the North Atlantic, where the Prince is expected to
join patrols searching for drug runners in Caribbean waters.
