Film-makers have explored the history of Healing Manor in a new
documentary.
The magnificent 400-year-old building turned up a fascinating
past when a team from the Grimsby Institute's Immage Studios
researched the site.
As reported, the building is currently being transformed into a
new pounds5-million five-star hotel. The 44-acre estate is protected
by English Heritage.
The team originally began researching the Manor to form a small
part of a Channel 7 documentary. But when the members discovered its
rich history, they made it into a documentary in its own right.
The history includes the story of John Maunsell Richardson, a
Victorian racehorse trainer and twice Grand National winner. He ...
