Article: Natural gas work moves to New Auburn

AUBURN - Natural gas line replacement crews will begin moving to New Auburn this week.

Northern Utilities crews will start replacing a cast-iron natural gas line under South Main Street on Monday, moving to Broad and Mill streets as the week progresses.

They'll begin moving to New Auburn's side streets in the next few weeks. The city and Northern Utilities have scheduled a meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Auburn Hall to discuss the work with neighbors and New Auburn residents.
