The entire Doyne Park Golf Course and the front nine holes of the Currie, Whitnall and Hansen golf courses reopened Monday, following the weekend shutdown of all Milwaukee County golf courses, county Parks Director Sue Black said Monday.

Flooding problems affected most county courses, but no major damage has been found, she said.

"Mostly, they are just flooded," Black said. "The main thing is just letting the water soak in."

Black said a damage estimate was being done at the county Sports Complex Fieldhouse in Franklin, which had flooding problems over the weekend that prompted a rescheduling of the Franklin ...
