Cornwall endured a disappointing outcome at Falkland, Newbury
yesterday, when they were outclassed by rivals Berkshire in their
opening Minor Counties Championship game of the season.
Having shared the spoils on the opening day, Sharp's side had no
answer to their hosts on day two as the home side wrapped up a
comfortable nine-wicket success.
With the home side resuming on 116 for four, this after Cornwall
had posted 225 in their first innings, Berkshire wasted little time
in adding to their tally on a bone dry track, which again offered
little help to the bowlers.
