A young woman has told a Plymouth court that she regularly
attended the Dance Academy nightclub and bought and took ecstasy
pills there when she was just 15.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said she went
to the club with friends about 30 times between November 2005 and
March 2006, when she was barred by a bouncer who knew her.
Asked if she had any problems getting into the club she said:
"Not at all."
The woman admitted that she and her friends, some of whom were
the same age as her, would try to make themselves look older to get
into nightclubs.
She said that on six or seven occasions she bought ecstasy inside
the Dance Academy.
