Lost in the hubbub of this week's executive appointments to
MillerCoors LLC: the president of Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co.,
Miller Brewing Co.'s craft brewing subsidiary, will report directly
to MillerCoors Chief Executive Officer Leo Kiely once the joint
venture between Miller and Coors Brewing Co. is final.
Jake Leinenkugel currently reports directly to Miller Brewing
President Tom Long, who will be president and chief commercial
officer at MillerCoors, which begins operations on July 1.
Leinenkugel said that his status of reporting directly to Kiely
shows the commitment MillerCoors has to ensuring Leinenkugel
Brewing's status as an independent operating subsidiary.
