YES Under European law, the treaty is dead as soon as it has been
rejected by one member state. If Gordon Brown carries on and
presents the Lisbon Treaty Bill before the Queen, he will be asking
her to put her name to illegitimate legislation.

YES Those concerned that a mere million Irish voters can derail
the constitution for all 490 million of Europe's citizens should
reflect that only Ireland was given a referendum. Her citizens'
votes must be stacked up against the few thousand MPs from national
European parliaments.

mean that all EU governments should dissociate themselves from it. I
