Bottom side Axminster were on Cloud Nine after defeating
Bradninch by seven wickets to register their first league win of the
season.
Bradninch, seven for two early on, were all out for 147 in the
41st over. Simon Bailey (52) and Rob Acton (30) hauled them round
with a stand of 76 for the fourth wicket.
Rob Prior, who could not travel with the Axmisnter first XI,
bagged four for 29. Steve Wakeley had three for 42 and 15-year-old
Ben Fuzzard picked up a couple at the end.
Axminster had the runs knocked off with a dozen overs to spare
with Prior (75no) leading the way.
Leaders Bovey Tracey came up short on the chase in the first-
against-third game away to Hatherleigh.
