No deadline for Ireland to solve Lisbon Treaty crisis: EU presidency

BRUSSELS, June 20 (Xinhua) -- The European Union (EU) will not set a deadline for Ireland to solve the crisis resulting from the country's veto of the Lisbon Treaty, Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa said early Friday.

"We will not set any deadlines, not for Ireland, not for anybody else," Janez Jansa, whose country holds the EU rotating presidency, told reporters in the early hours of Friday following the first day of an EU summit.
