But, as for saying any other vote than for a Conservative will be wasted, is a bit rich.

The Conservative Party, although it occasionally mouths anti-EU intentions, is not prepared to put this into a written statement - not even promises, just maybe "perhaps".

As for David Cameron negotiating his way out of the present set- up in the EU, this sounds rather like "trust me, I'm a politician"!
