The Lanesborough claims to be the most prestigious luxury hotel
in London and it's easy to see why.
The impressive building, housing 95 rooms, was built as a country
retreat for the second Viscount Lanesborough in 1719.
I was blown away by the sheer extravagance of the whole hotel;
it's a place for those with serious money, but it retains a relaxed
charm making even the thriftier of us feel comfortable.
How do you get there? Best bet is to get Nationwide Express,
