A suspected drink-driver was found with cocaine in her purse
while being searched at a police station, a court heard.
Joanna Marsden-Williams, 35, a doctor in obstetrics and
gynaecology, told a jury that she had shared her purse with a
friend, and that the drugs belonged to her friend.
Miss Marsden-Williams, who the court heard was two- and-a-half
times over the legal drink-drive limit, pleads guilty to failing to
supply a specimen for evidential purposes after failing a road-side
test.
She denies one count of possessing a controlled drug, namely
cocaine.
Truro Crown Court heard yesterday that Marsden- Williams had
