Rogers -- 69 Years
Clarence and Ruth Rogers of Yakima celebrated their 69th wedding
anniversary June 15 with a family gathering at their home. The event
was hosted by their family.
Clarence Rogers and Ruth Thirtyacre were married June 18, 1939,
in the Lower Valley. They have lived in the Yakima area more than 55
years.
Mr. Rogers is a retired accountant. Mrs. Rogers is a homemaker.
The couple has three daughters, Joyce Smith of Palouse, Wash.,
Janice Terry of Selah and JoAnne Hunter of Spokane. They also have
seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-
grandchildren.
Eells -- 65 Years
Ernest and Henrietta Eells of Yakima celebrated their 65th
wedding anniversary June 21 ...
