WOODBRIDGE -- Dr. Bernie S. Siegel has always had the drive to
help people, first for many years as a cancer surgeon, then a
support group innovator and bestselling author of books such as
"Love, Medicine and Miracles" and "Peace, Love and Healing."
These days, he still runs popular support groups for people with
cancer and gives inspirational talks throughout the world. Now
another project has sprung straight from his heart: "Buddy's
Candle," a children's book suitable for adults as well, to help
young or old cope with the loss of a pet or other loved one.
