"HE was killed just as much as if someone had killed him with a
gun."
These were the chilling words of Canon John Evans yesterday as he
conducted the funeral of 13-year-old Sam Leeson.
Sam was found hanged at his Tredworth home on June 5.
He is believed to have been the victim of online bullying.
Canon Evans spoke of the "evil people" who preyed on Sam's
vulnerability and he said he fully supports The Citizen's Cyber
Watch - For Sam's Sake campaign.
The campaign, set up in Sam's memory, aims to raise awareness of
online bullying.
